We went to long Island on an exploration trip and had hoped to experiince this area with local appeal.We wanted to fit in and as a first try at picking a place to stay we could not have done better in our minds.The restaurant and bar will be open at our next vist and we plan to stay here again because it has docks also and walking distance to town.The buildings our 1800s and give an awsome your part of this town feeling and the folks running this are awsome as well.This place has it all.Rooms,dockage,waterfront,bar,restaurant,maps,info.It was for us!

Although the website on which we booked indicated that the restaurant would be open on a limited basis and the lounge was functioning, both were closed.

Location to the town of greenport! Cozy with rooms overlooking the harbor..quiet place to stay and very private..steps from harbor and a big outdoor pool..very old place with a big dark wood bar downstairs with friendly older crowd..very relaxing place to stay!
outside needs a new paint job..would look so much nicer..but a pretty place...
